Longview Towing Mirrors Review - 2022 Chevrolet Colorado- Video
How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Longview Towing Mirrors on our 2022 Chevy Colorado. Adding towing mirrors to your truck is gonna allow you to get additional visibility and increase your safety when you're going down the road. The Longview, they actually just snap and hook onto the side of your mirror, and it's gonna basically give you a good amount of space to increase your visibility. Now, what you're adding to your mirror, you're right about a foot overall. As far as the mirror surface itself, you're right little bit over 5 1/2 inches wide. As far as the height on it, right at about 4 1/2 inches. more

Now, adding towing mirrors to your vehicle is gonna allow you to get a better perspective of what's going on behind you when you're towing a trailer. Just gives you a better view of the road by adding an additional mirror, so you can extend your field of vision. Overall, what you're adding to the vehicle, well, to the mirror, you're right here at the top, about 11 and a half inches. Overall, a little bit shorter, 13. If you're looking for an easy way to add tow mirrors to your Ram, check these out, these are Longview Slip On Tow Mirrors that we have installed on our Dodge Ram here today, and they literally install and uninstall in seconds. Simply unscrew the knob here, they're gonna clamp on on the front of your factory mirror. And they slip right off. Now, these are gonna fit your standard mirrors, these are the ones that don't flip up, and it's not the tow mirror option, these are just the regular standard mirrors. Now, these have the cutouts for the factory lights that are on your mirror, such as the the turn signals on the outside here and then this cutout for the puddle lamp underneath. This extendable mirror is going to replace the factory side view mirror on your vehicle. This is a custom fit, so it is going to work for the 2012 through 2021 Nissan NV 1500, 2500, and 3500. Because this is gonna have the same footprint as your Nissan, it's gonna be a very simple installation. Longview Driver and Passenger Side Custom Towing Mirrors Review- Video
Sometimes you're hauling stuff and you wanna see it a little bit more, so the Longview Custom Fit Towing Mirrors are gonna be a great way to do that, just use the fit guide, which is at the center on the top of our website, put your vehicle's year, make, and model in, and that'll hook you up with the correct set that'll fit your specific vehicle. Before I go over features, they don't look too bad, they do have a decent amount of knobs and stuff on the sides, but the ABS plastic really does match the OEM look, you can't really tell a whole lot of difference, and if you can tell a little bit of difference, you gotta remember, this is an older vehicle and these are brand new, so this is a little bit glossier, but the whole finish to it is the same, so it's not really gonna stick out like a sore thumb, which is something I'm looking for. The only thing I can say bad about these is just the knobs, it's somewhat of an eyesore, but since they're black and not that big, it doesn't really stick out that much. When it comes to the mirror, it's not gonna be as big as the mirror on your vehicle most likely, but as far as dimensions go, the width is going to be 5 1/2 inches wide, and the height is going to be 4 3/8 inches. And it is gonna be able to pivot up, down, right, and left just like the ones on your vehicle, but these are not gonna be powered, they're not gonna be heated or anything like that. And this is a flat mirror, meaning whatever it sees, it's gonna show the same exact as what it actually is. more

Now, this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 1999 to 2007 Chevrolet and GMC trucks and SUVs, and because it fits so many different models, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now, this is an extendable towing mirror, you can see you can pull it out and extend it out about 4 1/2 inches. This will replace the factory's driver's side view mirror on your vehicle, so there's no need for any of the snap-on or strap-on mirrors that you constantly have to put on and take off or tighten them. This has a nice telescoping function, makes it very easy to see around the side of your trailer, so that you can safely change lanes, pass, and park. more

I'm not a hundred percent confident whenever I'm hauling something like this in the back. So the long view, custom fit towing mirrors is gonna help me see a little bit more. So I'm not just white knuckling the wheel all the way to my destination. So you can see my view in my normal mirror. and you can kind of see in the CIPA mirror, but when I'm turning is really what I'm looking for. Just because this is a lot of length that I'm not used to. more

So I am not too comfortable hauling a trailer behind my vehicle. So I grabbed the CIPA custom fit towing mirrors to kinda give me a better view. So what we're gonna do is go driving and see if it's really gonna put my mind at ease. So you can see my view in my normal mirror and you can kind of see in the CIPA mirror, but when I'm turning is really what I'm looking for, just because this is a lot of length that I'm not used to. So it's getting those tight corners. I'm getting better at the wide turns, but sometimes when you're in these crazy situations just like the parking lot really. more

Review of K Source Towing Mirrors - Universal Low-Mount Style Door Mirror - KS29MD- Video
Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this K Source Universal Low-Mount Style Replacement Mirror. This is going to replace the low-mount style mirror on your truck or van, either on the driver's side or on the passenger's side, just by flipping that around, it can work on either side for you. This is gonna have the swing away design, so it can fold up against your truck if you're parking in a tight space or something along those lines. This is a full size mirror, so it's gonna be about 10 1/2 inches tall by approximately 7 1/2 inches wide. When we have it extended like this, it stands about 31 inches tall, and from our arm here back to our truck door, it's gonna be right about eight inches. more

This is going to be a direct replacement for the existing mirror on your vehicle to make sure that you have the best range of view while you're towing. A lot of times, whenever you've got a trailer behind you, whether that's a fifth wheel, a bumper trailer or anything else, a lot of times it can be kind of hard to see what's going on because you just need a wider angle to see what's going on back there. This is going to extend out to give you that better field of view so you can see what's going on, but whenever you're not towing, you can also bring that back in, and reduce a little bit of space of this is going to take up.This is a direct replacement for several Ford vehicles, including the Ford Excursion from 2000 to 2005, and then the Ford F250 and 350, 450 and 550, that's for 2001 through 2007. This is just the passenger side, we do also have the driver's side available as well as a kit with both the driver's and passenger side.If you are needing both, you can find them using that part number that you see on the screen or if you just need the driver's side, you can find that instead. But if you already have the pair, this is going to be a great replacement for the passenger side. I would recommend having both on your vehicle just for the aesthetics making it look balanced.This is a really nice mirror, It's going to extend out to give you that greater view of your trailer as you're towing. more
